How to make a beautiful video is something I want to learn (need a good iMovie tutorial and/or tutor!). Right now I just enjoy playing around with the video mode of my canon point and shoot camera. This is a little vid from my most recent trip to Italy and basically sums up what we did most of the time (kiss!) We set out to make our trip one of the most romantic ever. We took two separate planes to arrive in Rome. We made a plan to rendezvous at La Fontana di Trevi…and on the morning of Sept. 16, 2009 we had it all to our self. I will never ever forget it. See more pictures from the trip here.

Loved the video! Can’t believe you got it all to yourselves. The day we were there they had drained it and were scooping out all the money. There were still a lot of people there that May. Enjoy.
Absolutely love it. This would make a great commercial for Canon. How did you create that effect? (it looks like it was made with an 8 mm film camera) Is there a name for that technique or feature? Great job!
Liz & Jeff-
Thank you! It was a magical day for sure.
Liz-
I made the video with very little technical skills (video editing is an area I would like to learn in 2010). I created the effect using Adobe Premier (the basic version) and I believe the technique is called film grain.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
